We Will Never Forget…

Tomorrow is September 11th, and a date that America will always remember.  Much like the Kennedy assassination we all know exactly where we were and what we were doing when we heard the news…

I was going to repeat my September 11 posting of previous years, but decided against it.  If you care to read them you can.  This post is a tribute to all who perished, no matter their race, creed, color or country of origin.

Let’s never forget, and here’s hoping we can somehow find a way to come together again, as we did that on that dreadful day in 2001.

Well stated Dick. No, Joan and I will Never Forget where we were on 9/11. Neither will our daugher and son in law. They were on their way to work on that fateful day. They were on their way to work in New York City and were stopped on the Palisade’s Parkway north of the City and saw the smoke. Then they entered a gas station and viewed the distruction on television.
    GOD BLESS AMERICA.

    • Thanks Paul. Fay and I were in France at the time, and it was hard because our family was so far away, and we had no idea if and when we would be able to return home. Our friends there and the French people in general went out of their way to accomodate and welcome us into their homes.

  2. Dick:
A date in infamy indeed. I remember where I was at the time on both sad occasions. When I walked the scene of JFK’s demise it was an emotional experience I shall never forget.

Let’s not forget, there were Brits who were murdered here too along with other no-Americans. Let’s not forget either, the scumbags who did this crime. Their time will come.
