DAMN THE HEAT, FULL STUPIDITY AHEAD…

Got brave Saturday, grabbed the White’s TreasureMaster, said the hell with the heat, I am going detecting, and you know what?  I was soooo stupid! The heat kicked my butt big time, but I somehow managed to hang in there for a couple of hours, give or take (including two ten minute breaks in the Pug Bug with the AC set on “blast away”)….

Summer has arrived here in Texas and, and even though we haven’t hit triple digit temps yet, I’m already tired of the heat.  If I need anything at all I make it a point to pick it up in the early morning, and the same pretty much goes for detecting.  Hunt early or die a slow death later…

ARE WE ARE SLOWLY BEING RUN OUT OF TOWN?

Has anyone noticed the trend toward detecting rural areas? Fields, wooded areas, farms, etc.?  Seems that detecting town or city areas is becoming harder and harder to do. Or, am I imagining it?
