What Floats Your Boat?

Oh, and by the way…

…I’ve been thinking about a couple of comments that were made regarding my review of the Simplex and want to address them.

First off despite my age I’m not adverse to or uninterested in today’s detectors. In fact far from it. I hear about them (sometimes before you do), talk about them with friends and give their features/specs a good look. I also share “what I can” here on SS (most recently the Apex). Continue reading

The Nokta Makro Simplex+

For the past few months I’ve heard nothing but good things about the Nokta Simplex+ from people I respect and when the company came on board as an advertiser they asked if I would consider doing a review.  I agreed with the understanding that (1) there was no deadline, (2) it wouldn’t be lengthy nor technical and (3) that I can be brutally honest in my evaluation.
